Use Orchard’s Standards-based Assessment to Inform Instruction…
Orchard’s assessments are based upon Common Core and state standards, and provide a powerful interim benchmarking assessment tool that informs and assigns targeted standards-based instruction for all students.
Students begin by taking a grade-specific and subject-specific assessment based upon their state standards (example: Orchard for Texas Math Grade 4), that assesses which standards the student has mastered and which standards he/she is struggling with. Orchard then automatically creates a customized learning plan for the student by assigning specific instructional programs based on identified problem areas.
Summative, Formative, and Interim Assessments
Curriculum-specific tests identify strengths and weaknesses of each student’s abilities, as well as progress and gains in achievement
Tests show correct answers for any questions students may have missed, in addition to periodic gains and specific remediation needs
Assessments range from 30 to 60 randomized questions presented in a graphical format that children find motivating
Orchard Now is an online tool designed to prepare students for state tests in grades 1-9. Math and language arts questions are based on state testing standards so students get realistic practice for real testing success.
Every child has a different learning style. Some children respond better to visual stimulation, interactive games, while others respond best to words, repetition, voice and sound.
